Girlscout, I have to agree with those who have suggested buying name brand zip bags. The store brands just don't seem to hold up as well on multi week trips. I had a good experience using the Aloksak from Watchful Eye Designs for keeping valuables, etc., dry. I am opting for one of these as my wallet on the PCT. BackpackingLight.com and REI carry them. cheers, terry
