[pct-l] section G in May

I don't remember whether 2002 was a dry/normal/wet
year, but around Memorial Day
there were no snow issues as far as 
Trail Pass, though it probably got more interesting
once in Sequoia Park.

Because one needs a permit even to hike out the
Mt Whitney trail, turning off at Trail Pass or
Cottonwood Pass might be more attractive.
Avoid old and New Army Passes early in the season!
