Switchback & AsABat, you guys are truly Innovators of the backing made
easier
and more enjoyable concept.
The 3 of us think alike and should join forces. With Switchbacks BALLOON
concept, AsABats TUB concept and my BEER FOR THE TRAIL
concept we could revolutionize
the art of backpacking.
The tub manufacturer says YOU CAN TAKE THE TUB ANYWHERE EVEN CAMPING
all you need is a 110 volt outlet. Boy, we would need a lot of extension
cords unless we use, as AsABat suggests alcohol stoves. Maybe we
should invite DEEMS along I saw him make some neat alcohol stoves at
the ALDA gathering.
No more blisters, no more sleeping on hard ground (we could sleep in the
tub), no more struggling up steep passes ore drinking warm water (we will
have a beer keg in the balloon.
I bet, after a few days on the trail, some of the FOXY FEMALE HIKERS will be
more than glad to go for a joy ride with us. Hmmmm, I wonder if we
should invite YOGI along?
Surely the balloon & tub are large enough for all of us.
THE TUB MANUAL SAYS.....close your eyes, lean back, enjoy REALaxation, let
the warm,
bubbling water wash away the chaos, loosen your muscles and ease your mind.
No matter
how stressful your day has bin, you can get away from it all in your own
tub.
I CAN VISUALIZE THE FUTURE .......hot tubs awaiting weary hikers (seeking to
escape the stress of civilization and find solace in the wilderness) at
every camp site to enjoy the above
described pleasures.
I'm so exited thinking about this revolutionary new concept of exploring and
finding solace in the wilderness that I can't sleep.

CAN YOU GUYS HANDLE 4 DAYS IN THE WILDERNESS WITHOUT A HOT TUB???
--------------------------------------------------
Answer, no.
You have not even thought about the required pedicures after 3 days of trail
travel. And what about the memory foam mattress naps at the motel? And the
AYCE salad bar pit stop after only 3 days? It goes on and on and on.
No, you are way off base here. I don't want to live out there. My next PCT
adventure is to Thru-Power Balloon the trail with my mountainmen buddies.
We will have a microwave, refrig, and each a queen memory foam mattress. We
will yell down at the terrestrial hikers below things like, "Hey, that part
of the trail does not look so steep. Let's pick it up. Double time." And,
"Hey, does anyone down there have some ice to chill up our beer a little
more?"
Cheers, Switchback the Hiking Dandy
