[pct-l] Newlly intreasted to the PCT... looking for someone to give advice....

The PCT2006 Yahoo Group would probably be a good place to start. So, by "as soon as possible", you mean this hiking season? Also - maybe someone else can do a better job of explaining this, but people don't normally hike "in groups" although it kind of turns out that way. Most people start off solo and stay that way or meet people on the trail and pretty much stick to a group. Others (like myself) have someone that they are starting with. 
   
  Check out the yahoo group - most people on there are hiking this year. good luck:)
