[pct-l] snow questions

It is too early to tell, but the first snow you could encounter would be in 
the San Jacinto Mtns; the first time the trail gets to 9,000 feet.  This year 
there hasn't been much snow, last year there was a lot, even as early as 
October.  

The Palm Springs Aerial Tram has a web site that will give you real time 
conditions at the top of the tram (8,500 feet).  Their "TramCam and Weather" tab 
on the site will show you conditions there.  The site also has historical 
records of snow, rain and wind.
