   If you were directing the question to both of us...

in the 1990's we were in the minertes (Between reds meadow and Yosemity).
On last years hike the mosquitoes were worst 30 miles before hwy 88 but went away about 10 miles before hwy 88, near lost lake. They were also worse around Tahoe after Dicks pass, and tapered off just before Hwy 3?, The last 20 miles before Hwy 80 were not bad at all, probably because of the higher elevation, and lack of vegitation...
