July 4th 2005    Rebuilt valves and pipes to faucet and horse-trough at
corrals.  Will the system survive the winter freeze for the 2006 hiking
season?  Hopefully, the USFS won't disconnect and lock-up the valve-box,
as they have done in the past, thereby locking up our natural
water-resource!  Sign implying "non-potable" water does not mean
un-filterable or unusable-by-horses, only that if untreated that it
doesn't meet the stringent State standards for "potable-drinking water".
USE IT!
