[pct-l] Best Section Hike in June

I've been lurking awhile - but now that my 2006 PCT plans have
drastically changed, I need some sage advice.

My wife and I had planned on through hiking if I didn't get into medical
school - but I got in. Then we planned to just hike for 3 months with
her on leave of absence starting in Campo. Originally her boss
approved, but had to rescind the leave based on HIS bosses opinion.

Anyway - now we have 5 weeks, from June 1 to July 7ish. I've got all
the guidebooks etc, and everything I've read does not paint a pretty
picture for hiking in June. My wife would really like to hike in
Washington and I wouldn't mind just timing it so we hit Kennedy Meadows
on the 12th or so...

Any opinions would be greatly appreciated! The toughest part will
simply be the logistics of getting on and off the trail (to and from
airport). In addition, we're reconsidering bringing our dog (hot button
issue I know) due to our reduced trail time.

Thanks
