Please Update PCT-Water Report: Feb. 2006
                      C4(237.4/240.4) Mission "Spring" Trail-Camp.
                                      3 water sources (year-round). 
                                                       1st  @ Mission
Spring itself, namely the Horse-trough.
 
2nd @ Faucets (piped spring-water) for two yellow-post campsites and the
Horse Corrals (3 faucets total, on one system).
 
3rd   @ "the kitchen-sink", Grotto-creek falls, 50 yards behind the
Corrals.
                                      Also note two campfire-rings.  
                                      History: Trail-camp originally
built by the State for The California Riding & Hiking Trail during
Heart-Bar State Park Era, but is now owned and "managed" by the USFS.
                                                   Old wooden corrals
have been replaced with pipe-corrals by volunteer groups.  The toilet
facilities were damaged by a falling tree and thereafter
demolished/covered,
                                                   but never replaced or
upgraded by Forest Service as part of the routine-maintenance and repair
process. Vehicle access is from Hwy 38 @ Heartbar, but only 
                                                   if USFS Gates are not
all-locked-up!
