[pct-l] Public Announcement - New PCT Challenge

For the 2006 campaign I want to offer an outstanding reward for the first person to thru hike Mexican-US Challenge.  This starts at the southern end of Baja California and ends at the the PCT marker on the US-Canada border.
 
You could pull into the April Kickoff as you head north from Mexico.  You start at the ocean near San Lucas.  I do not know the walking distance to Campo from San Lucas.  But you can do it!
 
The prize is $100 American if you make it to Campo and another $100 if you make it to Canada on the PCT.  If you are a woman, the amounts are $200 each.
 
Others who want to add to the reward pile are welcome to join in.
