[pct-l] Mt Laguna -> Lake Morena This Weekend

Snow! Don't be silly. I hiked in the Lagunas a day before this message appeared and it was 56 degrees and gorgeous weather.
No ticks either. I walked through a huge storm in Mojave and got three ticks imbeded. Maybe there is something about ticks and huge storms?
(There's a joke there somewhere).

Yes:
I just got back from hiking Section A. I was out there
during the HUGE storms last weekend. Oh, boy, let me
tell ya!

So the ticks are out in force. I pulled off at least
30 of them from my legs. I saw hundreds more. If you
train your eyes you can see them dangling on the tips
of grass and shrubs below knee height, with their legs
outstretched ready to grab hold of you. Just avoid
them.

The So. Cal water report is accurate, except for Lucky
5 cache- which is dry. The weather is great! The
Lagunas got snow, but I bet its melted by now.

Have fun!!
