[pct-l] Cleaning down bags
Woolite works well, but the nikwax down wash that can be found at retailers
such as REI is by far better. Less abrassive on the down. Also in regards to
drying, front loaders on low heat(larger is better as mentioned). DO NOT use
tennis shoes, large heavy items such as these may rip the baffels in your
down sleeping bag. Tennis balls are best, they are heavy enough to break the
down clumps, but not hurt the bag. I've done this method many times.
