[pct-l] Snow Camping, Tyvek



Rather than buying a footprint, why not just use 2-mil plastic available in
big rolls for cheap at Home Depot? 

When I don't have far to hike I like to make wall-to-wall padding inside the
tent, cutting ensolite pads from a surplus store so they fit together to
cover the entire bottom of the tent. No rolling off the pad and getting
cold. For longer hikes this is a bit heavy though.
