David,
My experience in fixing a hole on silnylon is to find a piece of silnylon to
cover the hole, it can be larger, then sew it on and then seam seal the
stitching, just like you would seam seal the stitching on a tarp or tent.
This worked for me.

Happy New Year from a long-time list-lurker and section hiker.
After three PCT seasons, my tarp-tent has developed some small (less than
dime-sized, larger than pinhead-sized) holes. Does anyone on the list have
any experience with patching silicone-impregnated nylon?
