[pct-l] New Hiking Standard

I would have to agree that is a good reason to have some brighter colors.  But in 40 years on the trail, I have never had that problem.  I have heard shots in the far distance, just like you hear dogs barking in the distance.  Sounds seems to carry out there.  I guess my white anti-radiation SunPrecaution clothing and solar umbrella has saved me.  :-)   
 
I still want packs, bags, and shelters in the gray or stealth colors.  I guess I just do not want everything too bright on a hiking trip.  I like the idea of blending in.  May be it is a reaction to my white clothing set up.  Ha, ha.
