There's been several who have done this and hopefully they'll respond. A
larger number of us have section hiked a lot of the trail, including a lot
as day hikes.

I would recommend George Semb's Dayhiking the PCT books. They provide
excellent directions to many trailheads about one day's hike apart. I've
given them to navigation-challenged family members and they've met me at the
trailhead without difficulty.
