[pct-l] Holiday Cheers....



Greg,
 I so enjoyed your last Christmas posting. Can't agree with you more. As a 
current bartender madly squirreling away tip money for my thru-hke of this 
great trail, I can attest to the "bottle of salvation" aspect that you 
applied to in Sir Walter Raleigh's musings. I think all this mad, 
meaningless commercialistic hype drives people to consume alcohol too 
heavily, probably overtipping in the process. I assure all of you that this 
money is going toward a very good purpose.
 Hike on with merriment fellow ruffians!  .
