I started the PCT in 1977 with a girl partner.  I'm sure that she was hoping 
that this would turn into a romantic relationship.  However, after 4 days, she 
developed tendenitus in her knee (supposedly!) and went out at Warner Springs 
and back to Daddy, whimper, whine, whine.  

6'9", blonde, blue eyes and about 200 pounds apparently scared the poor girl 
to death and off she ran!!!!!

Since then, my lovely wife has found me to be mostly harmless.  

;-)  

I'll check with my wife!!!!
