Can ya'll give me your thoughts on hiking sections P, Q, & R as far as being
sure there is no snow? And hopefully, less rain?
Is early July too early?
Thanks, Isabella

In most normal snow years, early July is perfect for doing P thru R. Plenty
of water, low hiker traffic, and just enough snow on the ridges and vistas
to make it an adventure. Rain would be the rare coastal front, or the more
common thunderstorm. I'd count on great weather. Even with this heavy snow
year it was hikable in early July. I've hiked these sections often for the
last 20+ years, and live near Seiad Valley. If you ask next spring, your
answer will be based on current conditions. Enjoy your hike.
