On the Post Hole Web site, It was a  "most interesting snow day, April 6, 2005."

  This year wasn't to bad,  Hiking straight thru, Starting May 9th, leaving  Kennedy Meadows on June 22nd, and arriving at Manning Park on Sept  29th, 1 day before a snow storm decided to lay a coat down on Lakeview  ridge (last high point on the trail, around 7000')....
    
  In Southern CA,Fuller Ridge did have a couple of feet of snow on it, when I went  through, but it was doable. Sierras, had lots of snow that slowed us down, but it was  packed fairly well, although the Streams were hard to cross. Then  there was the Mosquitoes in the Tahoe Area!!!!... 
  Strangly now I am wishing I could do it again...:-)
