Go to the Getty Museum.  It is free and on the weekdays they only charge
about $3 for parking.

I'm farting around LA now.  Is there any must see attractions I got to
see while here?  I'm at the Aquarium of the Pacific now.  Is there any
mountaineering\skiing  museums, gear manufacturing tours, or thur-hiking
shrines?
