[pct-l] Weather Carrot's 2004 dvd
Hi Steve:
I am glad you are doing this. Weathercarrot mainly
used Photo To Movie. You can get it here:
http://www.lqgraphics.com/software/
The Photo To Movie software allows you to create the
'Ken Burns Effect' That is the effect when movement is
added to still images. I believe he then transferred
the movie files to imovie for final editing.
I went out and bought a copy of the program after
seeing Weathercarrots movie at the kickoff. For
Yosemite NP I created a DVD using Photo To Movie. But
I used Adobe Premiere as the final editing program.
One of the visions Weathercarrot had in creating the
DVD is that it will start a tradition that will
continue. He wanted it to be representative of the PCT
Class of that year. That means getting as many people
as possible to submit pictures to you so you can have
a broad spectrum of pictures to choose from. So put
the word out to other hikers.
