[pct-l] Winter is arriving tomorrow...



The following is a snippet from a "Special Weather Statement" issued for
Northern Costal/Interior California. This will mainly affect the Siskiyou
Mountains, places such as Russian Wilderness, Marble Mountain, Castle Crags,
etc. Middle Boulder Lake and Mumbo Basin are in for it. The Sierra's should
be spared.

LEVELS DURING PERIODS OF HEAVY RAINFALL LATER THIS WEEK. SIGNIFICANT
SNOWFALL ACCUMULATIONS AND STRONG WINDS ARE LIKELY ABOVE 5500 FEET
BY SATURDAY MORNING WITH 18-36 INCHES OF SNOW EXPECTED ABOVE 6000
FEET. SNOW LEVELS WILL BRIEFLY FALL TO 4500 FEET WEDNESDAY...THEN
BECOME 4000-4500 FEET ON THURSDAY BEFORE RISING ABOVE 5000 FEET ON
FRIDAY.
