We're going to need all your help on this:
You all are a wealth of personal experience and historical recollection.
I need quotes, from yourselves and/or from people in history describing in a
sentence or so why we like to hike. Doesn't matter who said it, but it must
be heartfelt, at the very core of what motivates us to head for the hills, s
pending even months at a time in wilderness.
Your own personal feelings. Those of Thoreau, Waldo, Clarke, etc., etc..
The essence of these will be compiled into a dissertation of 1500-word
limited length for a future Communicator article.
E-mail them to me at
_mtnned@aol.com_ (mailto:mtnned@aol.com)
What you express will motivate others to experience this awesome lifestyle
of the trail!
