There was a young woman on the trail this year - Lovebarge - who flip 
flopped to Ashland in June and hiked north who  crossed the Suiattle 
River on a log that in the afternoon had water flowing over it, that she 
managed to cross the next morning.  Other  thru-hikers  held some of her 
feats in awe...
