They might restore Hetch Hetchy Valley!  Remember, this is the lost  fight 
the help kill John Muir 90 years ago.  There is serious talk going on  to tear 
down the dam and restore the 2nd Yosemite Valley in Yosemite  NP.  The powers 
that be would raise a dam downstream higher, so it could  hold more water.  And 
then they would remove the Hetch Hetchy dam, so work  could begin to restore 
the valley. 
 
We all should support the Hetch Hetchy restoration movement.  Of  course, you 
can HYOH and support whatever you want.  See Section B of the  Inyo Register, 
dated October 15, 2005 and the Sacramento Bee newspaper.
