You're right!  Even people who are a-theistic have a spirit and, thus,  can 
recognize His handiwork, the awe and wonder of the hills.  Even the  devil, 
himself, knew Him well!  But we have the freedom to choose what we  believe; this 
is a part of His love.  So, as we hike down the trail, what  we feel of Him 
there we can call anything we want.  It's as if someone lets  you out from the 
rat race of life to experience the freedom of the hills and you  never looked 
back to see who did it.
