The status of the different models of BearVaults has not changed; the
SIBBG has updated their web site to reflect that they not allowed in the
Rae Lakes area of Kings Canyon National Park - until further notice.

They are still approved and allowed at all other location of the central
Sierras.

According to signs posted in Sequoia and Kings Canyon
Parks the only currently approved cannisters are
Garcia and Bearakade. I think the signs speak for themselves.
