[pct-l] Kennedy Meadows #

oops. you're right.

Hey, I called THAT Kennedy Meadows last week, too! In
addition to what Marshall said, the store at the Northern
KM is open approximately 6am - 8pm every day. If you ask
nicely, they'll let you use their housekeeping washer/dryer.
She told me the charge for boxes is $10, but the fee will
be more if the box is bigger. The address I got is:

(hiker name)
c/o Kennedy Meadows Resort and Pack Station
57 miles East of Sonora on Hwy 108
Sonora, CA 95370

UPS only!!!!!

I think you gave the southern Kennedy Meadows phone.

If Weathercarrot means the one at Sonora Pass, the phone is 209 965-3900.
This is the Kennedy Meadows Resort & Pack Station, General Store, off
Highway 108, Sonora, CA 95370. In 2000 they charged $10 for a box; $5 for
showers. Free camping was nearby. It was 11 miles West of the pass.

The food supply in the General Store was good, but not inexpensive.
Restaurant next door.

Here is their web site: http://www.kennedymeadows.com/main.html
