All depends on your comfort zone I guess.
I wake up at every little sound for the first couple of nights on the 
trail. Yet I'm complacent about the dangers of driving and walking 
around downtown.
If I had lived my entire life in the wild, I'm sure I would sleep just 
fine. However if you then take me out of the wilderness, plunk me down 
in a car, take off down the freeway, and I'm sure I'd be terrified! 
Plunk me down in the high rise district at noon and I'd be hiding in 
the nearest alley wondering how the hell I got there, and how I could 
get back to the safety of the trees.
