Enough with the bear spray "testing".  It's getting mean spirited.  Glad some are amused.
 
However (just in case), you don't spray yourself with the stuff to test it (let alone empty a can of it on you).  It would be good to know, from direct first hand experience, how it works, its "aim" and range and how to recognize its smell should you come across it again, perhaps along a trail.  Many who have used the stuff had no idea of its powerful affect on humans and may have done so when a simple verbal warning would have sufficed.  
A bear attack is no time for OJT!  Would you pack "heat" without ever firing a shot?  (correct answer, "No")
