[pct-l] Hiker Spottings / Echo Lake / September 1 & 2

Greetings:

Hung out for a couple of days at Ziggy's South Lake Inn and ran into John
(Little Bump) and Dawn (Stick Girl) Cicanese. They are SoBo and we took them
up to the PCT crossing of Highway 50 yesterday (9/2). They look great and
are hoping that the water caches in southern California will have water when
they come through. John estimates they will arrive in Campo around
Halloween.

Patrick (flip flop and now SoBo to Kennedy Meadows(S)) left Tahoe on 9/1.

We gave Hellcat a couple of rides. He got off the trail at Barker Pass,
having hiked 3,800 miles on the AT (GA-VT) and PCT (flip flop) this year. He
has some hip pain.

We saw Greyhound (flip flop NoBo) at the Echo Lake store. He made it from
Walker Pass to Echo Lake in 14 days and plans to finish at Sierra City soon.

Little Bump said there are approximately 24 SoBos who will be looking for
water in SoCal.
