[BULK] - Re: [pct-l] Bear cannisters, etc.

C'mon guys, this is funny, but seriousely, I would like to know what kind of food to stuff on that will fit into a canister :)

In grizzly country, the piles have little bells and smell of pepper
spray!

Bwahahahahahahahahahahaha!

(I couldn't resist!)

I'm outta here! Gonna track down that BearVault-bustin' bear in Vedette
Meadow!

Can't substantiate whether it's true or not, but just last night I was
talking with a friend who said that some bears actually LIKE the sprays,
especially the pepper spray. Anyone heard of that?

Good evening, Ms./Mr. Wack,

When someone asks me if they will be safe if they carry a can of bear
spray my usual reply is, "That all depends on how fast you can carry
it."

What
do you do with things like cooking pots and the backpack - things that
may
potentially smell of food, although there is none inside. I would like
to
keep them in my tent because I wouldn't want the backpack to remain
outside,
even on a tree.

And lastly, if you can shed any light on how to bring a stove on an
airplane, it would be great. Last time I tried this, it was confiscated
from me by the airline.
