Just for fun, here are my answers to the questions from the perspective of a section hiker (short "sections" at that):

(1) Where do you sleep? 
Anywhere comfortable;
(2) Where do you go to the bathroom? 
Any place private only to find out afterwards I could be fully viewed from numerous directions;
(3) Do you take a gun?
 Yes, squirt gun;
(4) Do you sleep in a motel? 
Not on the trail long enough to warrant one (unless my husband is there waiting for me w/his Viagra; or, any muscular, strong, naive sweet thing-of-a-man under 25);
(5) How often do you shower? 
Never, I take a 'bath' in lake, etc.;
(6) What about lions, tigers, bears?
 I lov'em all;
(7) Will you carry a cell phone? 
Only if obscene call(s) are guaranteed;
(8) Will you be gone 5 months? 
That would be one hell of a long section hike;
(9) Do you ever want to quit? 
Ditto to Greg's answer;
(10) Will you ever want to do this trek again? 
As often as my depression and arthritis allows.
