[pct-l] Just about scariest sounds

 The scariest sound on the trail I ever heard was someone charging a .50
machine gun not too far down the trail in front of us. It's a very
distinctive sound and really ruins you're entire night....    ;o)

At least the idiot didn't have enough sense to charge the gun as soon as
they set in. We'd have never known they were there until it was too late
otherwise....   =o)

Sounds we heard when we were kids around twelve in the woods.
Here is the way we use to describe those creepy sounding noises. They  were
called Just about', just beyond and just behind
