	The Los Angeles Times has an interesting cautionary article on
litning strikes, adressing both the JMT and Utah Boy Scout deaths this
year.  It compares lightning to other risks: hurricanes, tornadoes,
sharks, grizzly bears, snakes; lightning claims more lives in the US
that these other hazards individually,a s I read the article.  It
describes the best posture to take in a lightning storm (no, not bend
over and ....).
