Gee, I met Pop-Pop as he was beginning to drop into the San Gorgonio Pass.  He looked great and I was hoping I could look that good when I got to be his age.  I can tell you that it was super windy (35-50 mph) when we passed, but he was looking sharp (he was about 1.5 hours down from Black Mountain Road).  That makes me sad.

Greetings,

I am trying to locate a gentleman from I believe Georgia with the handle "Pop-Pop". He was at the Taquitz Inn in Idyllwild mid-May and he and I left within hours of each other via Black Mountain Road on the 16th. I heard he left the trail a few days later near Cabazon due to injury.

If he is on this list or if anybody knows how to contact him I would appreciate hearing what he or you know.
