I find MontBell to have better made gear than GoLite.
It usually is lighter, too.
However, I do have the GoLite Wisp (which is no longer
made) that is lighter than what MontBell has
available. GoLite replaced it with something heavier.
I have used the GoLite Wisp in near whiteout condtions
on a Colorado Trail backpack [1] and it is what I use
for trail running. Plan on taking it on the Leadville
100 (completing it is another story! :D)

[1] What is fastpacking anyway?!?!? It used to mean
big mileage days self supported. Now I've seen
trailrunners with van support adopt the term as well.
I am lazy..now it is trail running or backpacking for
me. :)
