[pct-l] Wrightwood; Baden-Powell

Trainman
The short answer is yes.... sort of

I Hiked Vincent Gulch Divide to Islip Saddle last thursday 7/1/05, the last
1/2 mile or so is straight up though as the snow/ice still hasn't melted,
you can stay on bushes and small bare spots to the summit. From the summit
to dawson saddle trail you mostly stay on the ridge from there on you can
stay on the trail, not to many down trees and fewer washouts etc... to Islip
Saddle

Plenty of good water at Little Jimmy Spring too!

If you stay at Little Jimmy Cpgd, or anywhere in vicinity please hang your
food & other items as there IS a continuing bear problem there. Despite the
taking down of 2 bears in the last few years.

Enjoy your trip!

We are planning a section hike next week over the top of Wrightwood and on
to Mill Creek camp. Is the trail over Baden-Powell clear and doable without
ice gear?
Thanks,
