[pct-l] high sierra fishing

can anyone recommend some bait and tackle for the high
sierra?  i'll be hiking the jmt later this summer and
fresh trout sounds like an amazing way to supplement
my diet and spruce up my dinners!

i figured that i can bring some line and use it in
conjunction with my poles.  are flies the best way to
go?  any specific recommendations?  how about strategy
i.e. streams vs. lakes?
