[pct-l] Missing Hiker piece in the Press-Enterprise

When I was in Cabazon a few years ago, at the country store that I 
re-supplied at in '77, I noticed many very strange and dangerous looking people hanging 
around and driving by.   It didn't look like a great neighborhood anymore.  I 
certainly hope that this was not the end to his life, but rather one in the 
wilderness where I would hope my time comes to an end.

Cabazon has a great history though.  It started out as the only desert spring 
in a very large area and is described in some of the earliest books on travel 
and exploration of California deserts.
