I jsut like to say thanks for the cache last year. I remember that
particular one well for some reason?  Maybe because I was feeling run-down
at the time and that jolt of sugar helped me get up the next set of
switchbacks!

Hi,

Raindog and I tried to maintain a soda, water, and goodie cache right off of
Tacoma Pass last summer for the thru-hikers.  We were unable to get the last
load of left over garbage and the cooler off the site before the snow came
in this year.  Normally we would have gotten up there by now but I became
unexpectedly pregnant and have been having a problem with motivation.
Anyway, a nice thru-hiker called today to let us know that the trash and
cooler were still there.  We drove 4 and a half hours to clean up our mess
but when we got there it was gone.  Has anyone seen our trash?!  We only set
up one cache last year so we were wondering if it ended up furthur down the
trail or something.  The only thing we can figure is that perhaps the same
hiker who called us may have called a ranger, trail maintainer or somebody
else to get it as it was right next to an access road.  Just trying to make
sure it isn't sitting somewhere else on the trail as weirder things have
happened....
