[pct-l] RE: pct-l Digest, Vol 26, Issue 31

Doug, don't know if this was answered for you (I'm on the digest so it takes
me a while to receive the posts), but my husband and I are hiking a 200
miles section in So. Cal. at the end of this month and after researching
trains and busses decided that $35 to rent a car was worth the little extra
cost having door to door service without having to deal with transfers and
connections. With 4 of you in tow -this might work for you depending on how
much gear you are lugging. Good luck!!-- Jo

Hi,

Four of us will be leaving Lone Pine on the morning of Wednesday,
September 7. (Yea, we're planning ahead, I guess!) We're looking for
an affordable shuttle or taxi early in the morning to the LA Airport.
Right now, the only choice I've found is rather pricey.

Anyone out there want to give us a ride, in exchange for a more
affordable rate-- say, $50 per person for four of us to LA?

Best

Doug
