GPS waypoints for the entire trail are available on the three CD set of PCT
maps from http://www.morethanamile.com DO NOT buy the single CD - it
doesn't have waypoints and printable maps.
If you're new to GPS, route-finding across many miles of snow-buried trail
is not a smart way to learn. Unless you have someone with you who is fully
competent with the technology and off-trail route-finding, don't try it.
One caveat - never trust your life to something that runs on batteries.
