[pct-l] getting to the coast

Hello Mark,

I live in Crescent City, CA, 20 miles south of the Oregon border on the
coast. Crescent City has commercial air service on United Express,
linked in with United, and connections out of SFO (San Francisco) or
Sacramento. The airport is right next to the ocean. The planes are small
-- 29 passengers max. Leg up to hear will cost a bit more than more
traveled routes, however you are here. Greyhound no longer comes to
Crescent City but ends in Arcata; there may be some kind of local
transit however added recently but I'm not up on the situation. Arcata
also has commercial air; however your are ~70 miles from the Oregon
border. Medfor airport is a bit farther, ~ 100 miles. If you flew into
Crescent City if I'm around I can pick you up at the airport and drop
you at the border. You could 'camp' in my living room overnight if need be.

Crescent City has supermarkets, WalMart, etc., so supplies would not be
a problem. I can check on fuel availability. If interested, contact me
direct off-list. This will be my first trail-angel gig.
