[pct-l] Snow conditions near I-80, Donner Lake, Truckee

I just did a quick check of snow conditions near the PCT trailhead on I-80 
at the Boreal Ridge Ski Area (elev. 7218 ft.). Still lots of snow at this 
elevation, perhaps 6-8 feet. I only went about 1/4 mile before I lost the 
trail.

However, just down the road at Donner Lake and in Truckee (elev. 6300 ft.) 
all traces of snow are gone. It's like summer here, with temps in the 
70's. Really, it's gone. Melted.
