[pct-l] Deet quantities

Good evening, Mike,

I encourage you to keep two bottles of DEET, of appropriate size, each in a
separate location, i.e. one handy and one in the pack. Mosquitoes are less
troublesome when you are moving so it is very easy to set the bottle down
while rubbing on a dose, then quickly walk off and forget it. Mosquitoes
can be very distracting. Many readers may not agree with me, but mosquitoes
are not a problem, mosquitoes are an irritant, so it is good to keep a
positive perspective.

On the bright side, in all my years hiking the Oregon Cascades, I can't
remember very many that were larger than a robin.
