yep, that's the spot! the sign was broken, as was the fence... certainly 
if the fence were intact, i would never have passed that way... methinks 
it was taken down for the equestrian event?

anyway, ultimately if i'd been paying more attention to the guidebook, 
etc, i wouldn't have gotten lost, but it was just one of those things...

i'll check out the more that a mile maps- i've got that cdrom set, 
hadn't thought to look there...
