Betsy (or anyone else who can help with a dog question)--

Last year when your lab was traveling with your husband, you mentioned that
you had researched some high calorie nutritional food for dogs. I was
wondering if you remember the name of it and if you could tell me where it
might be available? We just completed a wonderful 200-mile section hike with
our border collie mix and are anticipating our next trek at the end of June.
However, even though he did great on the hike he lost 2-3 lbs in spite of
the fact that we increased his food intake by about 50%.  So I?m planning to
feed him more calories in the future but would like to do so without adding
too much more weight?any dog food recommendations are appreciated!
