[pct-l] transport to Mojave from LA and from Kennedy Meadows

In addition to the great information posted by Lon below on getting to your destination, if your flight options (and costs) are better going through LAX, here's another choice:  Metrolink www.metrolinktrains.com  You'd take a shuttle from LAX to Union Station, and from there, you can take the Metrolink Antelope Valley Line all the way to Lancaster, then hop on the Kern County Transit referenced below.  Personnally, if the options allow, I highly recommend flying into Burbank Airport, then taking the shuttle to the Metrolink and hopping on the same line.

The in-and-out of Kennedy Meadows is trickier; I a not aware of any transit that services KM.  I think the hikers usually hitch down into Ridgecrest to link up to public transit.
